Vignerons de Caractère Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise Bouquet des Dentelles

Nose and palate exactly like a lychee martini. Very flavorful, but one-dimensional and the alcohol is too strong (my wine should not taste like I added vodka to it). I could see someone liking it, if they liked lychee martinis.

16% alcohol. golder color with candied lychee and white peach on the nose. full bodied with lychee, apricot, peach and honey, a bit of a hot finish. adequate, but somehwat disappointing for $15 for a half bottle.
