Lighter purple colour. Mid with coffee notes of barrel and more acidic cherry taste. Lighter (12,5 %), subtle tannins. Very good QPR.

Typical Tempranillo...earthy, dirty, leather on the nose with a hint of the grape, light, not overpowering... A deep purple/garnet color, similar to Cabernet Sauvignon... The taste was thin, at first, but it had a long, slow aftertaste. Very herbal, a bit of spice, maybe bell pepper, mushroom. The finish was very tannic, leaving a lasting dryness. Could see it pairing well with a spiced ham or braised beef and grilled vegetables. Nothing that made me "OOOooo" and "Aahhhh". 82

Drank over two days. As usual, this modest wine seems to over-deliver. Good dry, medium bodied tempranillo with dust, earth and dark fruits on the palate.

A tale of 2 wines: First night...Strong fruity nose lots of dark berries and currant, hint of leather. Expecting lots of fruity taste, but was pleasantly surprised by subdued fruit. Medium body with medium tannins and no heat at all. The tannins provided something for a wonderful mild spice to cling to. The tannins weren't tongue parching but lasted (along with the spice) for up to 20 seconds. The spice was enhanced by the mild spice in a mexican style …

Toujours un excellent RQP. Plutôt léger (manque de corps) mais au goût très agréable. Sans défaut.

Owoc z dębem, trochę za monca kwasowość, taka jakby ocet. Wino średnie, ale poprawne.

In the glass this is a dark plum color at the core with a light ruby rim. The nose of this wine is very "old world" as scents of earth, manure, licorice, and dark fruits dominate the nose as first whiff. In the mouth this light bodied wine offers flavors of cherries, mushrooms, black plum, and tobacco along a shot finish that is holding this wine back from excellence.

Nice flavors and a good Rioja for the price. Fruit and finish were both a little thin.

Thin, very thin, with a little acid and not much depth.

Not awful ... but will not drink again (unless it's the only wine being served by someone else). It's definitely on the thin side and somewhat flat. A bit acidic and somewhat citrusy at first taste, but with blackberry and a hint of leather.

Bought this to try as a table wine. Some fruit notes on the nose. Very thin on the palate with little fruit and not much else. No finish. Too old? Will not buy this again.

tasted blind nose - strawberry, mint mouth - thin, but some minerality. Short finish, empty midpalate.

Translucent ruby in the glass, lightening to rust at the edges. First night: Sour acidity suppresses whatever fruit or earth might be present. Old-world for sure. Drinkable with food, perhaps, but basically unappealing. 78. Second night: Distinctly improved. Acidity has dissipated, revealing gentle earth and spice on the nose, a twist of sour cherry mid-palate, and a surprisingly decent, leathery finish with a bit of heat. 83. Overall: If you have time to let this breathe, it turns into a …
