Craigs Group - Rhone (but our table was all CDP) (Meritage - Medoc Room) : Served blind, this was a classic White Rhone profile. The nose has peaches and flowers. The palate is a bit angular and challenging. My guess was something like "a typical and correct White Rhone that is quite nice, probably from a good producer, but nothing outstanding like a VV or a Chave". I think I guessed correctly.

Small pour. These are delightful and punch way above their weight. Pretty, fresh, orchard fruit, fine texture, floral. Really good. 91+ to 92pts.

Golden colour and quite fresh on the nose. Nice acidity, deep taste of honey, citrus. Mature. but not tired in anyway. Probably. Kacking alitttle bit of length. #Kandestederne

Very good. God thing we waited a few years but not more than 5-6 years, at least for this 2014. Rich yellow colour and tasty. This wine improved much over time.

Medium gold wine. Nose of peach and grapefruit. Medium acidity, followed by a chalky, medium finish. Good layers and complex

The wine looks yellow gold colored. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like peach, apricot, vanilla, oak and violet. It tastes like apricot, peach, vanilla and oak. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.

This is just great. Very complex and plenty of power without tasting too plump like so many Rhone whites. Notes of pear, peach, bubble gum, edible flowers, white pepper, and singed lemon peel. Terrific value for $30.

Didn't make an accurate notes... bright yellow, medium body, flowers and fruits, mice finish, liked it.

I like the clairette-dominated nose with hints of vanilla spice On palate, mouth filling spice with hints of sweetness. Long finish

Drank over 3 days and still going strong! Intense vanilla from the new barrel is still a little overwhelming, but what a complex array of tropical fruits like pineapple, orange peel and peaches within it! A big rhone white for great value drinking. Should be better in 3-5yrs. Could use more acidity to balance the big barrel. have to be consumed chilled at this point.
