Château Millegrand Minervois

Very earthy, needs time open to fully appreciate.

Stored well, simply past its drinkable window. Earth and compost on the nose. Thin.

Very good bottle. It opened up after decanting and was more in line with my expectations of the 2007.

Needed lots of time to open up. Will set aside till Thanksgiving 2012 and re-evaluate.

Enjoyed with slow roast wagu rump. Wine went very well with the food and we would definitely get it again.

un vin qui ne coute pas grand chose et qui offre tout de meme un joli nez de cannelle et d'épices, avec une bouche pas trop chaleureuse.

A nice wine, somewhat tannic. Goes well with red meat. The limitation of this wine is the strong acids--tend to make for a bit of a harsh flavor without the redeeming quality of extended pleasant aftertaste or intense burst of flavor. Decent wine, would drink again, but wouldn't buy again--instead would look for something else brand new to try and see if I got something better at same price point.

Delicious GSM blend from the South of France - earthy fruit on the nose, with rich plum, violet, slate flavors on the way down. Decent finish, with just enough acid to make you notice. I bought this for $9.99 at my local shop. Excellent deal for the sophisticated juice you get. Can drink stand alone, but is terrific with food. Buying more.
