3rd Friday Group: Uptown Brown Bag (R&D’s) : Double blind. Light color with an intriguing bouquet of orchard fruit, perfume and something a little herbaceous/resinous. Full-bodied and balanced, with good underlying acidity. Orchard fruit and melon flavors carry the palate. The acidity had me thinking old world, and my initial thought was an Italian chard. This was my second favorite in the flight and more than held its own in the flight. Excellent. 92-93 pts. (Fut)
