This is the wine recommended as a “starter” Pomerol in the wine shops in St Emilion. The wine is deep red in color. On the nose, there are strong notes of plums, not so much the sweet cassis tartelette of many St Emilions here; also black cherries, prunes, lots of thick opulent fruit; no leather; very slight spice.
