Agder Brenneri K.G. Puntervold Hellstrøm Aquavit (Modnet på sherryfat)

Nose: Floral, almost fruity, with obvious notes of aniseed, caraway and ginger(?). Notes of (good) raw spirit plus sherried wood notes of sweet and dried fruit. Hints of dandelion, other yellow summer flowers and some freshly cut grass. The (refill) Sherry wood is noticeable and is nicely balanced by the floral and fruity notes (although I wonder how this might have developed with another year or two in those Sherry casks...)
