77. Bright red/maroon, looks young. Bright nose, young BlackBerry and raspberry mingle. One dimensional in the mouth, with restrained berries. Finishes a bit hot (14.5% so not surprised) and fast, faint and brief lingering impression of plums. Not sure aging would do much here, this is a service table wine or cooking wine (used it for tomato sauce, in fact).

Strong aromatics that remind me of rubber bands. Palate is bretty with lots of barnyard flavors (but not in a good way.) Bitter and green, but finish quickly fades. $9.99 OH retail www.austinbeeman.com
