Domaine Ratte Chardonnay Arbois

A good if not quite good Arbois Chardonnay; not reductive but more Burgundian and could be blinded as Chablis. On the nose and palate; green apple lemon zest and maybe lemon curd. It also showed with minerality and chalk on the palate. What this wine lacks in precision it makes up for typicity; the ephemeral acid of Jura chard has been captured beautifully here. light gold color. subtle nose sweet and nutty with faint citrus. medium bodied with plus acidity. strongly mineral with lemon oil and sweet almond on the palate. softens at the back with a long finish. simple but focused and good.
