The Four Graces Pinot Noir Small Batch Series Lot. No. 1

Very nice, interesting nose - had to wait about an hour after opening for it to develop.

Solid, though probably would have benefited from a decant as a little tight on night #1. Well integrated tannins and ample fruit on night #3 (skipped a night).

Fresher, lighter, and more fruit driven than the same vintage Dundee Reserve. Light to medium body and well framed. Solid but generally boring. 90-91.

Yamhill Carlton Pinot Noir 2014 Earthy aromas leap from the glass and are complemented by a touch of lavender and ripened blue berries. With a smooth velvety texture, this wine delivers layers of dark bramble fruits and cocoa dust leading into a long fruit driven finish. The balanced acidity, vibrant freshness and integrated tannins are all signatures of The Doe Ridge Estate fruits.
