Not much change over the last year, still good, unlikely to improve. Nice fruit and spices, not much real complexity but a pleasant drink.

Decent enough and drinking well. Had hoped these might evolve a bit but not sure what they have in them to do so. Might give a 2011 a try next to a 14 to see if any noticeable evolution. In a good drinking window at the moment though

1hr decant. Quite refined, but a little simple. very good for chilian Cabernet, still a fair bit of fruit, a touch of tertiary flavours, with a senitive lick of oak. Good length finish. Pleasent but not outstanding. I think it has benefited from a few years bottle age. In a good place now, no rush, but unlikely to improve.

I like to keep this for 3yr+ and it always opens up quite well with a little maturity. This has been in the cellar slightly too long and is losing a little of its charm after 5 years but it still has soft fruit, vanilla tannins, and some length. For drinking up, though, perhaps at a BBQ. After 24h, this was better and went well with slightly spicy food. Perhaps my initial faith in this wine is justified. It is …

Nose: sweet, blackberry, prune, figs, smoke, chocolate, thyme, very nice and complex nose Taste: full bodied, medium acidity, medium+ tannins, black currant, plum, blackberry, figs, green bell pepper, smoke, spices and hint of earthiness, coffee finish, complex and fairly balanced, robust, this wine is always a safe bet

Definitely much better after a few years cellaring. A good basic cabernet. Nice blackcurrant/blackberry flavours, decent balance and length. I buy this and set it aside for 3-4 years and it never disappoints. Good value. 88+

Full body, deep cherry color. Intense black fruits, tobacco, herbal and earthy notes aroma. Dominant black currants and blueberry palate with mineral finish. Powerful, rich and complex, bold but too heavy texture, slightly dis-balanced, nice acidity, still tannic. Food friendly, best match is grilled meat or vegetable soup with broccoli, cauliflower and champignons. Serve 18º - 22º. Open at least four hours ahead. Drink now and next five years.

Had a glass of this one at a friends house, surprised to be that disappointing- candy shop meets sweet fruits, not really my thing, but the other guys did not mind it and were happy with it. I had really good memories with this brand years ago, sad to see it turn to other direction.

Fruity, plummy, soft and accessible, you could wonder is it wine or red fruit juice. If this is your preferred style here is everything you expect from a Chilean Merlot.

This is all the best you expect from Cabernet Sauvignon. Notes of cherry and blueberry, with underlaying herbal notes in form of tobacco leaves, Lots of well integrated tannins, that is in great balance with the acidity. Properly around its peak, and will be for maybe the next 5 years, but I guess it will be capable of laying in the cellar for ten more years

Very reliable wine. Good color, nose, palate, finish, balance, price. So what else. Medium plus bodied. Good balance of red berries, dark berries, oak, caper berry, spices, acidity, salinity and sweetness. Of course there is a Chilean character to it, which makes one for or against it. No need to decant. Just open, pour and enjoy.

December Themed Tastings; 12/22/2016-12/29/2016 (At Home) : Deep garnet red. Stinky attack on the nose that starts to dissapate and bring out some more vegetal and green characteristics like herbs and bell peppers. Low tannins (4.5/10) with lots of bell peppers and spices prior to a long finish of guava. Medium body that gained some more darker berries with more air. Drink now.

Hint of guava fruit and dirty cellar in the nose. The dirty cellar dissipates quickly and leaves a very enjoyable light oak wood. Fruity guava on the palate with light acid in the finish. Light medium body. Simple and drinkable. Day 2 tasting: Clearly mellowed but the tannins are still nice and 6/10. A little more earthy and sandy and enjoayable - maybe 88?

Revisiting "an old friend". I find the 2014 CS from CdD very typical: Fruity, Red berries, black current, some oak. A lot less of the jammy style I've found in earlier vintages. Dark red blue, opaque, thin watery rim. Fruity on the attack. Tannins & acidity pretty well in balance. More red berries than black current, vanilla to the palate. Medium long, fruity, quite pleasant finish. An ok wine to pair with meat but not of the heaviest kind. (#611)

great value, plenty of fruit and balanced tannins. I bought this at Costco for less than £5. absolute stonking value- probably the best red wine at that price point. The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and raspberry. It tastes like coffee. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Drank a 4l bottle with a peppered Eye of Round and it was nice with it. The wine is a touch sweet and chocolate and coffee in the front; the middle has some light green peppers and the finish is bit oaky and a light, sweet smooth tannin

Coffee, sweet cream, and stewed dark fruit on the nose. Medium body leads to a kick of smoke, jammy plum and dark berry, and a wave of medium, persistent tannins on the back end. A lot of character for a very inexpensive wine.
