Franco Conterno Langhe Nebbiolo

Medium ruby. Lots of red and black plum, strawberry, pomegranate. A touch of mushroom and forest floor. Cedar, sweet spice. Good balance of fresh red fruit and some earthy character. Medium(+) acidity, medium(+) tannins (fine grained, smooth, well integrated), high alcohol (14%), medium bodied. Very good, and very good value at €13,50 for a half bottle in a restaurant.
