Reminds me of the Chateau Trillol, which is another corbieres blend. Has a distinctive and curious nose of Sabra, like a chocolate/orange liqueur. Simple and rustic, but very charming. Though I prefer the Trillo, this beats the Fontsainte by a mile. No need to decant. Also, the QPR is absurd -- I think this was $11. Quite nice. Had the 2011 a few weeks ago, which I somewhat preferred. This is a bit more acidic, but still has lovely red fruit.

Subtle nose and flavor of berries with earthy undertones right from opening. Builds and mellows nicely over the next hour to a rich, slightly tannic follow and cocoa finish.
