It was fine. Some vanilla, some cherry, and decent tannins. Its an acceptable Tuesday wine. Was a little rough day one but softened up day 2. I guess that makes it an acceptable Tuesday/Wednesday wine. Either way, worth buying on sale.

Not sure we agree with all the great ratings, many of which are by the same person. I would prefer the fruit to be a little less muted. QPR is good at Costco though and it is a local SRH wine in our grater backyard so may purchase again.

Nose of Plum, earth, spice and dried herbs. The taste is a wonderful mix of dark fruit, spices, cedar. Medium acid and acid. Good to sip and with food.

Impulse purchase @ Costco (Sta.Rita Hills AVA) 13.8% abv - $15 ($26 less $11 off) Served (2-hr decant) with Baked Salmon Filet, Basmati Rice, Vegetables, and Caprese Salad. Somewhat lighter-colored Red on the pour, but fuller-bodied than I might have thought. Smooth and full-flavored; predominately cherry with raspberry, plum with spices and just a hint of cola. Moderate, but ample, tannin and acidity. Spouse Loved - A Hit! Have already purchased more to cellar. Gave remaining 1/3 bottle to my …

Medium ruby red in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & plums with overtones of floral & spice notes, earthy/dusty, minerals & a slight hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors cherries, strawberries & plums with spices, earthiness, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present although it does have the fruit & …

Beautiful bright ruby color. Bright, juicy cherry notes. Not the most complex thing in the world but a delight to drink

PnP. A touch of purple on the cherry red rim of this delightful quaffer. Red cherry and a bit of strawberry on the nose and palate. Light to medium bodied, some plums join the somewhat sweet cherry fruit. Went fine with grilled salmon in a mustard sauce. Seems just fine for current drinking, maybe will stay at peak a couple more years.

Tuesday wine, but a nice fruity one, nothing too complicated. Improved on day 2.
