Seemed to be past its prime. Normally I find Stevens Winery wine to be great.

As very solid Sauvignon blanc at this point. I agree with the comment that it should be "opened up" and allowed to warm. If consumed too cold, it could be an antagonist,

Popped and poured. Initially served too cold which muted the nose and palate. As it warmed up, there were aromas of hay, lime and iodine. Gooseberry, grass and asparagus on the palate. Very crisp and lively acidity. Good counterbalance with food, though a bit too sharp on it's own. Would purchase again.
