Jólasmakk Eðalklúbbsins 2018 (Marbakkabraut 12) : Meðaldökkt á litinn. Við giskuðum á að það væri 2010 til 2015. Jólalykt af víninu svona svipuð og af glöggi. Krydd, negull. Svo niðursoðinn ananas (sætan). Á tungunni var þetta svo dótakassi af bragðglefsum. Súkkulaði, jarðarber, kakó, kaffi, hvítur pipar. Frábært vín í flottu jafnvægi og á tiltölulega hagstæðu verði.

Odd wine, but not in a bad way. Starts off with fruit forward, dark berries, then a lot of anise, cloves, and allspice. If you're looking for a classic Pinot, stay away. That said it is an interesting and enjoyable wine, though a tad hard to score.

Short decant. Imagine 2/3 a bottle of Meiomi mixed with 1/3 a bottle of a good Sonoma based Siduri and this is what you get. By color, you would surely guess it's a Cab or a Syrah. Very fruit forward. Hints of grape juice and vanilla. Scoring this wine is all about your mood: looking for a easy to drink crowd pleaser - regardless of grape - and it's a hit.
