Muted note, juicy red fruit on the palate. Medium finish.

Bargain Burgundy (K&L Wines, San Francisco) : Medium color. Dark, whole berry scents with a hint of anise. Pleasing weight, acidity, and tannic structure. Pretty polished and smooth for a village Morey. Perhaps the one wine in this set that outperformed my expectations, but not enough to warrant purchasing it for $30.
