silky smooth with a little pepper to the finish: blackberry, cassis, chocolate, mocha, blueberry skin - love these Cobos wines, especially with enough age.

For my wife and me, high alcohol (14.5%) dominates all other aromas and flavors. Berries and sweetness make it through.

Черная черешня, вишневый джем, сигарный ящик, оттенки копченостей. Вкус очень полный, молочно-округлый, полностью сбалансированный с длительным сладковато-танинным послевкусием. Очень хорошо! 15,5/20

Dark cherry on the nose with an oaky blackberry taste. Almost no tannins and a short finish. Went a little flat on second day

Gift from Dr Phil Vana. Accompanied churrasco, very decent cab, well balanced typical profile of eucaliptus, blackberries.

I opened this at the end of the night because my wife wanted one more glass of "red," vacuum sealed the rest, and forgot about it for 5 days. Tasted tonight before throwing it out, and was pleasantly surprised. Very smooth, rich flavors of cherry and blueberry mingle with dried herbs. Little heat on the thin finish. Very easy to drink.

- Brick color with fast forming legs and aromas of cedar and tobacco. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of blackberry, smokey, oak and bacon with a medium/full body. Flabby texture with a short finish - All graphite nose. Short finish. Opened and decanted 45 minutes before consuming.

After venturied and left to sit for an hour I was a little taken aback by a distinct vegetal assault on the nose but that worry was quickly changed by beautifu layers of blackberry and spices for the palate. When the bottle was reopened from it's over night vac-seal it was simply delicious.

No complaints and very high QPR. Would be very hard pressed to do better for a cab at $20. Currants, blackberry and spice on the nose. Rich and dense taste. Well balanced and long finish. Between the Malbecs and Cabs from Vina Cobos, Paul Hobbs has done well in Argentina.

We found this wine to be vegetal like the crisper drawer in the fridge with old greens and bell pepper. We drank this after a really great Zaca Mesa Syrah and this was a let down.

I've had many of this before, but this one had so much heat that I thought the bottle could be flawed. On day 5(!!) it lost some of the alcohol, but It was still there....I'm not going to buy this anymore..

This wine was not decated much but it opened up after only 30 minutes. Nose: Closed but opened up after only 30 minutes and improved radically after an hour. Great dark fruit scents complemented by a dusty, toasted oak with shades of chocolate. At least that is what I get. Taste. Smooth, round, balalanced, with low acidity and an awesome fruit character. This wine has really smoothened quite a bit since I tried it a couple years ago. A very easy …

Currants and blackberry fruit. Chocolate and vanilla undertones, some soy or cooked meat. Really nice mouth texture. Good purple color. Not much finish or complexity. Still, it's a pretty good wine for the price and will appeal to a broad range of guests. Serve the next one at a party.

Nose of Cherries, rubber, baking spices and grape jelly. Grape jelly caries over into the palate with fine even tannins and cabernet characteristics.

Nose of dark currant and briar. Blackberry with hints of chocolate and vanilla. Medium finish. Decanted for approximately 2 hours. Mellowed considerably between hour one and two. This is a must buy for the price.

Solid QPR. One of my top go to value wines that drinks like its twice the price ($20). Color: Claret like red core to ruby edges Nose: Sweet currants and cherry, some mocha and spice Palate: Ripe black cherry and blackberry mix with chocolate, cigar wrapper spice, some licorice and cassis - great complexity at this price. Medium to full bodied, clean and full finish of fruit, spice and oak.

Best value of a cab i've found in years. This stuff tastes like a $35 cab and it's only $17 & my local wine store has it all the time. the 2008's just came in and is just as good.
