Nose: Cran-raspberry. Palate: Cranberry, rose, cherry, peppery tannins, and dark wet wood.

Balanced smooth fruit

A Taste of the Willamette Valley; 6/28/2024-6/30/2024 (Vancouver, WA and the Willamette Valley, OR) : Despite being poured at the winery's tasting room, this bottle was clearly corked. I doubt that any of the staff sampled it prior to pouring. As we were enjoying a nice visit, I elected to not say anything that might spoil the moment, instead discarding the wine and moving on to the next.

Just kinda there. Great nose, uninspiring palate.

Thanksgiving Weekend in Willamette; 11/25/2021-11/27/2021 (Willamette Valley OR) : Tasted at the winery. Bright red fruit throughout, just slightly more grip than I would consider ideal given moderate density. Better to cellar another year or two.

Visiting Vancouver and the Willamette Valley; 8/26/2021-8/30/2021 (Vancouver, WA and the Willamette Valley, OR) : This medium ruby wine is fine-textured and flavorful, with a solid core of dried cherries, red bramble fruits, clove, white pepper, licorice and black olive tapenade. Medium-bodied, fresh, judiciously oaked, seamlessly alcoholic (13.5%) and with plentiful silky tannins, it adds a prominent component of loamy earth on the dense mid-palate and lengthy finish. Willamette Valley June 17 - 19 Tastings : Aromas of fig, mushroom, savory spices, hibiscus and sandalwood. Richly layered fruit on the palate, with seamless mineral and spice depth. Round smooth tannins, good length.

Luminous ruby robe. Clove, allspice, red fruit nose. Light body, refined tannins. Cinnamon, cherry, raspberry palate. Silky finish.
