From yesterday’s Matthew Clarke tasting. Dark purple claret colour with clear rim. Cassis fig tobacco and cedar on the nose. Medium weight with nicely ripe tannins with a touch of woody stemminess. Ripe fresh and round on the palate with cassis blackberry fig touch of herbs. Classy stuff. Awesome value.
