I'm surprised that other reviewers have not appreciated the style of this wine. Light yellow with fragrant nose of straw, herbs and not-quite-ripe stone fruit. Most Americans don't understand Italian white wines, or wines from other southern and eastern Mediterranean origins. This Grechetto shows terrific acidity and lingering, herbal follow-thru.

Very heavy on the peach, some buttery oak, some waxy green apple. A nice touch of green herb, with a plastic and bitter note on the finish that reminded me a bit too much of aspirin. Highly drinkable, but not really my jam.

Gardenias, lemon juice, orange juice, fresh pasta dough on the nose. A little yeasty, and I'm guessing there issome lees influence here. Some plastic too, guessing from reduction. Medium + intensity of aromas. The palate is simple, showing mostly the citrus and plastic. Unfortunately loses the yeastiness, which was the most interesting part of the nose. Robe jaune verdâtre. Un nez qui peut faire penser au cidre de pomme. Sur les arômes de banane, pomme, miel, minéral et floral. Bel équilibre, tout en finesse. Un vin original et une très belle découverte.

I am lowering my score as I think this wine tonight is clearer to me. It is thin which is not good and it is also quite acidic but also flavorful. It delivers flavors of unripened apple and tart citrus. While it is not my style...... I do appreciate the flavors. The wine however is not a great example of the style

I am reposting most of my original notes on this wine from 2016 with some updates. This is an aromatic wine with citrus notes on the nose. Not as pleasant in the mouth with apricot flavors quickly giving way to grapefruit & some green apple. It has a short to medium length finish with an acidic and citrus lingering flavor.

It's an aromatic wine with scents of flowers, pear, and orange blossom. Tastes of pear give way to an apple pie a-la-mode flavor (apple, cinnamon, and vanilla). Maybe a little citrus on the finish. We liked it a lot.

No formal notes. Quite fragrant on the nose - notes of white flowers, white stone fruit, pears. On the palate well integrated acidity, good fruit, slightly saline. Not overly long or persistent, but very well made. (88-90?)
