Decanted for 12 hours. Delicious but primary. Please hold or decant overnight at cellar temperature.

Hold this wine. Way too young. Need at least 3-4 years from now. Cheers

Clearly on the young side, a bit tight, but really flavorful out of the gate - strong berry aromas and flavors, with rich depth, nice full body. Fun to drink, will no doubt be more complex in a few years.

Recently bought some Saxum from the mailing list and opened this to see what it's all about. Left open in the bottle for 4 hrs. Beautiful notes of tart blackberry, violets, bitter chocolate, and hints of olive and barbequed meat. This is in a very high energy state that's fun to drink now, but I can't wait to see what this becomes in 5+ years. The nose is a bit hot at 16% ABV, however, which prevented a higher score …

Opened, poured a taste, and enjoyed about 1 hour later. Saved some in 375 ml bottle under vacuvin and refrigeration. Tasted the following day. Dark color. Nose of spice, earth and blackberries. Touch of strawberry as well. Delicious fruit intro. Tannins nicely integrated. Dark fruit profile with sufficient acidity to give the wine lift. Dloral note on the back end. Delicious. Shows no heat despite 15.8% abv. High quality cork.

In great shape and ready to go. Lovely drink and all the (big) balance I expect from the house.

Has really come into its own over the last couple of years. PNP and did just fine. Absolutely delicious, so unusual and complex.

Very complex, as might be expected given the unusual blend, and very tasty! Went down nicely as a pop and pour.

Really like this one. Very young for sure, but integrated, fruity, powerful and velvety. Really an enjoyment to drink - and for sure it will hold for many years.

Wow! Served many wines at a big dinner and this was the favorite. Nose - currants and raisins sweet but enticing. Body - complex flavors for a young wine , full bodied as it comes right out of the bottle, blueberry, white pepper, raspberry and a hint of dates. Medium acidity, medium to low tannins. Want more!!

With a lengthy enough decant, this is already a wonderfully enjoyable bottle. A fantastic finish and tons of fruit but not overly jammy.

Had next to the 2012 Heart Stone. 2012 was the big winner...softer tannins as you would expect. It actually held pretty well but as others have pointed out this is way early to open. If you are fortunate to hold these for 10+ years it is definitely worth it.

A very young and tight Syrah, lots of fresh dark fruit, and balanced alcohol is in Tamed.

Opened way to early just to see what the hype was all about. 3 hour slow ox and 1 hour in decanter. Massive wine, a bit too over the top right now. So lay lay back down for at least a few more years.

Cherry, crabapple, cranberry, pomegranate, intense concentration and power yet a silky and elegant finish. This needs a decant but like other 2019 Saxum wines they can be drunk young. Amazing wine!

Unusual blend! Almost northern rhone in style -- more restrained than many Saxums. Dark fruit, a bit of petrol, great finish

Color of super dark red. Scents of dark berries. Tastes of dark red and black berries, obvious acidity and hotness. Definitely young and definitely a 15.8% ABV. 32% Graciano, 30% Grenache, 24% Syrah, 8% Mataro, 4% Petite Sirah, 1% Viognier, 1% Touriga Nacional. Interestingly, some white wine in there, as well as the grape for Vintage Port.

Iron, black fruit, anise, a lot of heat. Super boozy. Pretty tight. Do not touch these. Hold. Would not touch for at least 3-5 years. Least enjoyable Saxum in awhile.
