Tastes like cordialed cherries. Maybe even chocolate covered cherries. This isn’t the world’s most complex wine, but its pure, concentrated flavor is very attractive. At $63 a bottle, I wouldn’t recommend it unless liquid chocolate-covered cherries really sounds appealing to you. Or, like me, you’re interested in learning more about cinsault.
