Diesel, fruit, pleasant

Really interesting coconut and tropical aromas on first opening. Initially primary, this opened up to gorgeous sweet nectarine and tropical fruits. Acid still hanging in there, with a very nice finish. Although at peak, probably still has a few more years of life. Enjoy!

Could have mistaken for a spatlese halbtrocken. Very sweet peachy stone fruit, but well balanced with acidity. tangerine and minerals on the finish. In an excellent drinking window but well stored bottles should have 2-5 years more longevity. 90+

This is drinking very well. Peak drinking window now and should hold for 5 more years without much sacrifice.

Petrol on nose. Lovely balance on palate with zingy green apple amply offsetting the sweeter stone fruit and mango flavors. Good concentration and medium length.

Classic Mosel Kabinett with good sugar/acid balance, lightness, zippiness, slate minerality.

Grosser Ring Tasting of 2007 wines from the Nahe, Mosel, Saar and Ruwer (German Embassy, London) : Nice zesty nose with a pleasing minerality. Very pleasant palate. This works very well. It's just a touch off-dry, but it has the acidity to support it.

2007 is really going to be great! This is a beautiful textbook Mosel Riesling Kabinett. Pure and clean fruit with white peaches, some lime and pear flavors, nice minerality and a touch of sweetness. Great balance and harmony in this wine, can't wait to try this slighty chilled watching the sunset. The finish is very decent and long. Got it for 9€ directly from the winery. Drinking great right now, but will be even better in one or two years.
