A place to park the Syrah. Shwoing Syrah's acidity, and then a whole lotta oak.

Wow! Kind of surprised by this one as the nose was real enjoyable, like the wine. Thought it was going toe over the hill, but no way - still has a few good years. Enjoy!

lots of fruit, tannins and wonderful mouth feel The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like strawberry, blackberry, prune, mineral and stoniness. The body is medium/full. The wine has fleshy texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

This is a soft, lush, very enjoyable wine, although it isn't the most complex wine you'll ever drink. Lots of fruit, and the tannins are sweet and fine. I don't see it getting any better, but still delicious on Day 2 so it probably has a couple of good years left. Enjoy!

Wonderful wine that opens up over time to be even better, very soft tannins, full juice and bouquet but probably near the end of its prime

Just a lot of fun. Delicious wine, well structured even though at the end of its life, luscious bouquet full of fruit, tasted well with the syrah giving a nice edge to the cab, heat was tempered throughout. I decanted as the cork disintegrated on me and as usual I was ready to go with a taste. We had it with steak which worked well. One more bottle in the cellar and will try to open that one soon.

Very nice red blend the Grenache smooths out the Cabernet to deliver a soft fruit without any heat throughout, silky nice, very clean

Dark ruby. Smells of black pepper, earth, smokey bacon and chocolate. Medium/full body with smooth texture. Medium finish. Should do better with food.

Wine has seen better days but we have been drinking half bottles; lots of sediment and a bit grapey; nice bouquet; drink up.

Wine is maturing. Drink up. Good flavor; heavy bodied but drinks OK; wine throws off lots of sediment, might want to decanter;

Drinking very well right now. The Syrah is definitely prominent, with blue fruit notes and some peppery, gamey, flavors. Also has some Cab notes though, with red/black fruit flavors. Should still have a few good years left.

Wine is drinking nicely. Wanted more at the end of the half bottle. Good flavor and balance. Probably at its peak for the half bottle. Drink up. A solid wine but not too heavy as some syrah and Cab blends can be.

Enjoyed this bottle. Nice balance. Decent bouquet. Wine is heavy but drinks nice. The syrah adds some spiciness. Wine is ready to drink and would not hold on much longer although I have 375ml bottles.

Tannins have softened quite a bit over the last couple of years but the fruit seems to have also faded a little bit. Not quite as good as I remembered it from 2 years ago.

Upon opening the nose was dominated by the syrah with fresh fruit and fresh meat. The syrah fruits were very evident in the flavors too. You would tend to think there was more syrah in this blend. The Cabernet lent nice firm tannins to the blend. I believe this wine has the stuffing to last for many more years. It paired perfectly with flat iron and rib eye steaks. Well made wine. Worth the price.

The relatively small percentage of Syrah dominates. It's subdued up front, with not a lot of prominent fruit flavors, but powerful earth and pepper on the back end. Will probably integrate a bit more and get better with a couple more years of aging.

What a gem! Beautiful blend with backbone and spicy overtones. I love the idea of Cabernet with Syrah. They should get together more often!
