Bombastic, huge dark fruit. At this stage, I think it requires being complemented by big food flavors (we had with beef bourguignon), but I think it still needs 5 more years to help tame the tannins/alcohol and justify 90+ points.

Inky ruby fading to a dark pink. Nose of blueberry, bramble, and vanilla. Full-bodied with high alcohol, aggressive tannins, and flavors of dark fruits, mineral, and white pepper. Medium- long drying aftertaste of dried fruit. This is a big, bold wine and I understand why some people will really like it. I, however, am not so inclined. It's too " over the top" for me - too much alcohol; too much new oak. Drink now through 2032.

Great Syrah profile, plush and smooth, really hitting its stride now. You would never know this is 15.5%.

12 months in 50% new oak, 12 months in concrete egg. For him, for the northern Rhone like profile this is a real catch. '19 is amazing in the Rhone valley but it needs time. Tight and intense right now. Very driven. Needs to unwind but I betcha its goona be good!

Too sweet and bold. Really good nose but the structure is not of my liking

Extremely round and soft. This is built for early consumption but is dark and juicy and not bad for a weekday wine.

Beautiful deep violet color, brambly, rich black and blueberry fruit with lots of grip. Wet stone minerality mid-palate then drying tannins at the finish.

Solid if not especially impactful. Nice dark red and black fruit with M+ concentration and intensity. Fair QPR.

Sweet and very ripe black fruit that’s soft, cuddly and very spicy, but almost overpowered by the weight of alcohol. There were some gentle tannins but the finish was hot and overall this was clumsy and lacked balance. CHP 84 pts

80% Syrah / 20% Grenache. 30 plus minute decent recommended. Herbaceous, black fruit, chocolate, leather.

Just a little bit of funk to the nose. Not really barnyard, more soilage. And then some dark black fruit as well - blackberry. And it must have Syrah because it certainly shows the tannin and structure of Syrah. And a bit of heat on the back.

89-91? Besoin d'un peu de temps en cave. Généreux, mais l'équilibre y est malgré tout. Servir légèrement rafraîchit. À revoir en 2023.

The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, black currant (cassis) and raisin.
