Serendipity Winery, Devil's Advocate, Okanagan Valley

DV opened this the night before and wanted us to sample it tonight. Definitely some initial alcohol heat on the nose preventing any bouquet popping out. However, on the palate there is a core of fruit but it’s more savoury than sweet. Not sure if a little oxidation has muted the primary fruit. There is vanilla and spice from the oak treatment.
