The wine is clear with a medium intensity, ruby color. The nose is developing with a medium aroma intensity. A distinct Spanish feeling to the nose with aromas of dried cherries, baked plums, prunes, oak, vanilla, mocha, sweet spice and warm earth. Wide open right off the bat. This is a Bordeaux blend that can compete with the real Bordeaux's. Smooth tannins, full bodied and with a hint of fruit, this is a superb wine. I went to locate more, but this is not imported anymore. Now you can only get a Petit Verdot. What a shame!
