This is a Golden Ale. Quite a strongly hoppy aroma, which was unexpected. Golden ales are often less hoppy (aren't they?). The flavour matches. The hoppy aroma and flavour have a distinct toasted quality to them. This would be a good beer for fall. I was expecting something different from a brewer based in Hawai'i. 4.4%.

4,4% ABV. Slightle hazy golden yellow color with low to nonexistent head. Aromas of sweet biscuity malt and toffee with some peach-driven yellow fruit. The beer is quite light-bodied and refreshing on the palate and the simple, somewhat light flavors follow the nose verbatim. There are hints of caramel malts, tropical fruits and a bit of grassy hop bitterness in the short-to-medium-length finish. A rather modest, mediocre-to-average ale.
