Honeysuckle dominates the nose, with stone fruits on the palate. I agree with other reviewers that this is a rich, full-bodied white with an unexpectedly spicy (but not harsh) finish. Not a typical Viognier but very enjoyable if you can get beyond the lack of classic varietal character; paired very well with ham and rich mac & cheese.

Did not resemble a Viognier. Rich fruity nose, with notes of vanilla, honey and a touch of flowers. Palate was not as good as the nose, juicy and fat without structure in the mouth and lacking acidity. Spicy character.

Light golden color. Very expressive aromatically with honey, honeysuckle and white flowers, ripe peach, and honeydew melon. Full body, good length, medium acidity, and very rich on the palate, with flavors of honey, peach, apricot, herbs, and a bit of mineral. This is a pretty bombastic white, and might just be a little over the top for me. I'm kinda torn here—on the one hand, I can certainly appreciate that it's got complexity and is definitely a head-turner, and this …

Popped and poured. consumed over 4 hours. Nose: Medium plus expressiveness, cantaloupe, lemon, minerals, and butter. Palate: Medium-full bodied, creamy mouth-feel, musk-melon and cantaloupe attack, distinct mineral driven mid-palate lift, unique creamy cantaloupe combined with wet stone and minerals, all combine to dominate a medium-plus length finish. The melon and mineral components play off each other remarkably well here - me likes a lot.

Our 1st Jemrose viognier and definitely like it - enjoyed very recently with fellow CT'er neighborbill and good vino friends John & Malinda Chamberlain. A good QPR wine at the CT average price. Big round warm viognier - definitely a chard drinker's viognier and I usually prefer viognier in a drier, more austere and crispier style but this was really good. Enough sugar, alcohol and acid left for at least another 1-2 good cellaring years. Golden, well balanced, good mouth …

Very similar to my previous bottle but more agreeable to me. Big time juicy pineapple. And alcohol heat. Spicy and edgy, less rounded.

ABV 13.5% This a medium yellow clear wine. The aroma is moderate with some age on it. The aromas are white flowers and vanilla. This is a dry full-bodied wine. It has fresh acidity low+ to medium- tannins. It has good balance, and moderate flavor intensity. Flavors include honeysuckle, white pepper, vanilla, mango, and peach. It has a medium long finish. Thick tears on the glass. A modern style.

Plump Viognier that did not suit my taste, I prefer them sleeker and more crisp. Others will like.

Straw colored in the glass with thick legs, heavy, lots of glycerine; floral nose (honeysuckle? gardenia?) together with tropical fruit (pineapple, mango), stone fruit on the palate, leading with grapefruit peel, peach and apricot, plus minerality, a bit of caramel. Ends on a bitter note that I didn't find pleasant but this isn't a hot wine at 13.5%. Does it need more bottle age? I'm not in a hurry to open the next bottle. Next day: no bitter finish, perhaps …

Popped and poured, bright straw hue. Pretty aromatics of ripe apples, pear, lime zest and just a hint of the telltale shaved fennel this wine often exhibits. Medium-light body, seems to put on weight as it opens up. On the palate, this youthful Viognier shows stone fruits and minerals along with tinges of an intriguing herbaceous note (menthol?). Moderate acidity gives it a nice sense of balance on the close, which finishes with just a touch of heat. Clearly young, …

Fragrant, spicy V. Light tropicals, esp pineapple, acid and an overall thin experience. Fairly awkward and hot.

A real nice Viognier starting with an expressive nose. Very flavorful wine. Definitely a good buy from Last Bottle. Happy to have 3 left

A little bit too much heat maybe, but hits all the buttons I'm looking for in a domestic Viognier.

It poured a very light pale golden color in the glass. The nose smells of honeysuckle and a pronounced spice (allspice?). There is a nice rich viscosity to wine which shows strong honeysuckle flavor supported by the same savory fall spice as the nose. Quite dry with Stone fruit, mainly peach, remain in the background the whole time. Reminds me of a Northern Italy dry moscato from Piedmont with the cold weather nose from Alsace. But for the richness, I …

Lots of tropical fruit on nose and palate with good density and lots of good flavors that are easy to enjoy. I am rarely a fan of American Viognier, and this showcases the heat on finish with which I often struggle. a wine I'd err on the side of serving colder vs cellar temp.

Rhone Dinner (The Bristol - Chicago, IL) : Tons of upfront tropical fruit...peaches, mangos, grapefruit, and lanolin. The palate was really nice, and we all remarked at the interesting salinity that hit on the finish. I really liked this, and went back for 2 or 3 (or maybe 4) more pours across the night. Jemore's Viognier is always a treat, and this vintage is yum city.
