Guldgul färg, lite smågrumlig Citrus, smör, brynt smör, citronzest, mycket ekfat Rund och fyllig, medium syra, medium+ längd, lite alkoholvärme

Très bon vin. Petits arômes de noisette en bouche avec une bonne mineralite. Très bel équilibre

Popped and poured. Light and bright; no formal notes, but this was a delicious Chard. Paired with grilled salmon.

Golden yellow. Aromas of fresh lemon-citrus blend and toasty-oak. Palate creamy, toasty oak, almonds, honey and caramel. A very nice Chardonnay.

SA Chard with snap and power, but light on its feet. Spicier than Californians, loamier than Chablis. Nice to drink; great QPR.

Vanilla, toast, melon, over-ripe banana and nutmeg on the nose, with the ripeness and oak also apparent on the palate, with high acidity, med+ body, and a med+ finish. Potential for aging.

10m in oak, 1st and 2nd fill. A lot richer than the Glass Collection, creamy with riper notes, red apples, yellow stone fruit. On the palate quite rich no buttery, but there is enough acidity and a nice mineral touch that keeps it balanced. Good finish. 90-91+

This was nicely balanced and showed better than a previous bottle but these won't be improving from here. One of the better QPR deals of 2014.

Pacific Pointe Wine Tasting Club - International ChardonnaySmackdown! : Pale golden color with stonefruit, citrus, butterscotch, and vanilla aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, supple and layered with lively acidity and apple, citrus, vanilla, and mineral notes. Long finish. 13% alcohol. The grapes were whole cluster pressed. very tasty wine. SA whites are killer.

OK ... much better this time. Some hints of lemon, with a caramel, toasty finish.

Maybe the bottle was corked. Had off aromas, interfering with a fair tasting.

Fresh, bright citrus nose, leaning to banana and tropical fruit. Nice balanced style, the fruit is generous and tropical with a sweet pineapple flavour but is well balanced with a toasty, candied lemon flavour on the finish.

Tight, delicate nose. Quite a light restrained style with more savoury citrus and melon fruits. Gains a bit of ripeness towards the back of the palate and there is a nice toasty character on the finish.
