Joannes Violot-Guillemard Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc La Foulotte

Very nice but modest HCdB. Shy nose of crushed rocks and white flowers. In the mouth there's a moderate acidity paired with white fruits, and a touch of oak which ties it together rather well. It's a very elegant sip, but I'd like a bit more edge. It doesn't punch above its price, like I thought it would. *Edit. After a few hours of rest and air entering day two it becomes a lot fuller and more composed. Better.
