Bottle five of six. We tasted this at the winery on Maui, and the folks had to order a case (half dry, and half semi-sweet "Maui Splash") a year later. PnP at refrigerator temperature. Color is nearly that of water, and it probably would be if it weren't for the "caramel color" listed on the label. The nose is very nice fresh pineapple with a bit of a green, grassy overtone. Sauv blanc drinkers might like the nose. On the …

Slightly sweet, with definite pineapple flavor, but no complexity. Slightly bitter on the finish. Paired fine with tonight's Asian-themed meal and always fun for the novelty--we have visited the winery, but found this in Silver Spring, MD. However, when I told a friend who lives in Hawaii and enjoys wine, his response was, "I thought you liked wine."

I have tasted this wine on two occasions at the winery. The wine's taste is overwhelmingly of pineapple (it is made from pineapple), with few other nuances. The bottle in my cellar exists only as a home decoration as we live in Hawaii and visitors often ask if Hawaii has any wine growning regions, etc. Drink it if you want a sweet pineapple juice with alcohol. Otherwise avoid it and use it as a conversation piece.

Tastes like and smells like pineapple. Serve chilled on a hot summer day. This wine was a gift and better than I expected. Would make for a good component for a mixer or marinade.

Lovely pineapple wine, the nose reminds me of Hawaii with the sweet smell of the fruit. This wine is surprisingly dry despite that sweet aroma. I love drinking this wine on a summer day, with fish or even mixing it in tropical punches.

Used it for an tropical island inspired marinade for beef. In that respect it did very well. However, when we tried a little left over of the wine itself....it is one of the few times I have ever dumped an alcoholic beverage. The nose was definitely pineapple.

Definitely can taste the subtle pineapple...

Omm... smells like pineapples... with some alcoholic buzz and glue. Mid-palate tastes like pineapples with no alcohol at all... finish tastes like alcoholic pineapples. What leaves the palate is the flavor of the pineapple juice left in the tin can of Dole pineapples. This was actually way better than I expected it to be. But really, I'd probably just rather have some good pineapple juice (maybe with some vodka).

Brought this back from Maui. Okay wine, definite pineapple notes (which is why we bought it in the first place) but I agree about the "hotness" at the end. We went here after going up to the top of Haleakala which I think made us buy more Tedeschi in general than we should have.

Very strong taste of pineapple, of course. Our first impression was that it tasted like pineapple juice that had been in the fridge for too long, but then it mellowed and got more pleasant. Served too cold, perhaps? An interesting wine for the experience, but I don't think it will be one of my favorites.

The taste is like drinking pineapple juice that is not sweet. Fairly one-dimensional in flavor. Not as satisfying as I would have thought. Good acidity and a clean finish.

Better than I expected. Pineapple nose and flavor is nice and fresh. Semi-dry wine is nicely balanced. Slight homemade wine "hotness" detracts at the end. Had in Maui and was right at the time.

Mellow & dry; OK. I marinated boneless pork chops and fresh sliced baby portabella in about 1/2 cup of this wine in a marinade with some fresh lime juice, lemon grass, honey, tamari and marinated baby. The sweetness of the pineapple balanced well with the tartness of the lime juice in the marinade; both flavors melded well with the pork and really added a burst of flavor to the mushrooms. Drinking with the meal, this was an OK wine that …

vicki and leslie brought this back from their trip to hawaii. it has stayed in the fridge ever since, waiting for the mood to strike. a 60 degree new year's day seemed the right time to see what this was about. had with breakfast- smoked wild salmon, cucumber, tomatoe, cream cheese, caviar on italian bread. the wine was as described on the label. soft and dry with generous pineapple nose. as with most fruit wines, this has apparently not changed …
