Good, quality chard, light straw in color, nicely balanced nose, doesn't have the burnt rubber, heavy oak character of many Sta.Rita Hills Chards. Good intensity on the finish, nice effort.

I leftt this bottle in the freezer; it expanded and blew out the cork to the top of the bottle. I left it outside for 3 days, then finally opened it and drank it a few days later. It was amazing still--super clean and crisp, linear, focused, herbal lemon citrus honey.

Consistent with other's notes here, very light use of oak resulted in a delightful Chard that had almost Chablis qualities to it. Tart, crisp lemon, some slight melon (cantaloupe?), solid acidity. Really solid overall, reasonably priced, and went over well with a crowd of "I don't drink Chardonnay" types who are usually reaching for a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. 90-91.

No or very little malo. Neutral oak. Medium plus nose shows all kinds of complexity, cream cheese, lemon peel, crisp but full. Palate more CA than the nose, but still with a lovely acid streak, none of the buttery profile. Interesting how the fruit shows up front and then gets cut, beautiful style overall. Great producer.

Nice crisp acidity, semi-dry, well rounded mid palate and finish. Soft oak and a bit of vanilla. I will taste tomorrow to let it mellow out. Still has yrs. left in it.

Joval Trade Tasting (CBD hotel) : Medium minus intensity aromas are meaty, savoury, a little stone fruit. In the mouth it's tightly textured, meaty, a bit flat - lacks freshness with the alcohol quite intrusive on the finish. Nah

Nice Chardonnay that isn’t over oaked or malolactic fermented. Lemon and stone fruit and plenty of acid though I thought it took a little while to open up. Uncharacteristicly for me, I actually liked this chard better on the second day so I think that this wine is likely to improve with another year or two in the bottle. It drinks well now but I don’t think I’ll be in a rush to open my other bottles.

Lemon and green apple notes with good acidity and slight spice notes. This seems to carry less oak than some years ago and I’m good with that. It’s quiet and pleasant wine.
