Master class "The new Spain" with Andreas Kubach MW (Hochschule Geisenheim, Germany) : Wine 1. 100% Hondarribi Zerratia (Petit Courbu). 20% fermented in oak, 5 months on the lees. Bright medium yellow colour. Reductive. Limited aromatics. Citrus-driven, lightly mineral and lightly yeasty, with fresh, well-integrated acidity and very good length. Good texture and structure. Much more serious than the usual Txakolina. Still young. Should age well.

The wine looks light gold colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like apricot, strawberry jam, orange and forest floor. It tastes like apple and apricot. The body is light/medium. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
