Special Bottling for La Grande Societé. Pleasant, not profound. Fully resolved tannins, smooth, with no punch in either fruit or acidity. Color, ever so slightly garnet at the edges; nose/ taste, non-specific aged Bordeaux. Rated 0 on a scale of -1 to 3.

Domaine de Bellevue tasting organised by Urbanologie and hosted by WineChap (Franco's, Jermyn St, London) : Open for three hours before serving. 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon (unusual for Right Bank). Intense cassis nose. Deep savoury palate, thick but fine tannins.
