Mature but lively appearance, pale strawberry red colour, lots of bricking; warm but fresh nose, fully mature, complete and harmonious, spiced red berries, cool minerality, flowers, fresh white nuts and forest floor, hint of fishiness, good depth; silky and seamless palate, harmonious and with proper Chambolle elegance and charm, medium weight, cool but ripe style, almost resolved tannins, hint of cream, subtle flavours; the light finish could be more convincing. A nice little Dujac village. Disappointing at first. But with air developed the floral character that I love with Dujac. The vintage helps to intensify that character. Light structure, but nicely balanced in a elegant style. Not a lot of depth. I'd probably enjoy now.

Deliciously expressive nose, bright red berry fruit, roses from the stalks, hint of warm spice and wonderful minerality; the palate is silky but slender and fresh, elegant and harmonious, with very pure and precise flavours, perfect tannic grip; good finish, cool character, lovely length. Wow - this bottle was open for action from the first pop of the cork. A previous bottle had been as hard as nails and to be honest I was expecting more of the same, but this was already shows some maturity with that wonderful earthy yet light texture you only seem to get in Burgundy. Some beef stock and mushroom coming through - really punching above its weight as a village wine. Excellent.

Tight and compact and clamped shut as you would expect. A couple of hours in and this starts to give up some light fruit and cherry notes - acidic and tickling the taste buds and teasing but really not lifting its skirt at all. Not a bad wine, just too young. And I knew it. More fool me.

Drank over 4 days. A very tasty Chambolle Villages that is drinking very well now. Open from the beginning and showed well for the second and third days also. A little tired on day 4. This was clearly better than the 2008 version of the same wine and I'd bet that to be the case for the coming years also.

A little green on the nose, but the palete is fairly ripe. A bramblely in texture but overall smooth with nice forest floor cherries and some spices. Finish is a tad low on acid. Tannins seem low but they were a little underripe.
