Moncaro Rosso Piceno Superiore Roccaviva

After a positive experience with the 2011 and learning that this 2012 was awarded with three bicchieri del gambero rosso I quickly picked up 6 bottles right away. A disappointment and puzzled about the 2012 receiving such good judgement after popping two bottles and really wanting to like the wine based on my past experience. Unbalanced and oak overpowering the fruites.
