Popped and poured Zalto Bordeaux, seductive nose loads of berrries, taste elegant and delicious.

A wellmade Pessac Léognan from a fine producer, that likes to make experiments with other wine, this is the wine of the old vignes and a nice one , back bone with pleasure. In the mature flow.

First time, decapsulated 30 min. mature nose, green notes, light wine with tobacco and cedar notes, needs more time, some depot, drank from Zalto Universal.

Rich, still a very well-structured, fresh and balanced Bordeaux. Excellent value. Will most likely improve with a bit more age but already drinks fine now.

Charcoal, oak, sage, smoke, dusty, lead pencil, black currants; wonderfully complex, decanted over 2 hr; get something a little different whenever I go back.

(40% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec, 13.5% Alkohol) Expressiv in der Nase, viel dunkle Frucht, Trockenkräuter, Koriandersamen, Zartbitterschokolade, Veilchen, sehr komplex. Im Gaumen gradlinig, knackig, frisch, dicht und doch leichtfüssig, feinkörnige Gerbstoffe, lebhafte Säure, das hat Schliff und Präzision, wirkt nicht überladen, hallt lange und würzig nach. Ein sehr gelungener Bordeaux, der sich seit der letzten Verkostung positiv entwickelt hat. Ab sofort bis 2035+ geniessen. (Januar 2024)

This was a delight. Classic medium + ruby. Nose: Med intense ripe raspberries and crushed rocks. Palate: Med body, restrained integrated alcohol at 13.5%, already quite resolved smooth tannins. Super balanced between the on point fruit freshness and ripeness w/ sufficient but not obtrusive acidity. sweet black and red fruits are vibrant and energetic. Of course youthful but so very hard to resist its charms right now. Great QPR.

Consistently a great wine several vintages, very read to drink - no need to hold further- recommend opening around 30 minutes prior, quite good - prefer to many higher priced Pauillac's etc

Soft and slightly flabby and very earthfull. I love the coffee and earth notes in Bordeaux, but this feels a bit exaggerated this year. Never the less, an excellent example and and introduction to Bordeaux. This is all ready to go! Drink

Verkostet im Dezember 2021 in Windisch) Ausladendes Bouquet, dominiert von dunklen Beeren, Kräutern, Koriander und etwas dunkler Schokolade. DEr Gaumen ist konzentriert, mit knackiger Frucht, feinkörnigen Tanninen, einer lebhaften Säure und viel Rasse, hier sind Struktur und Frucht in einem sehr guten Gleichgewicht, die moderaten 13.5% Alkohol tragen ihres zum Gleichgewicht bei.
