Straight from fridge and PnP. Much better bottle. Really quite nice. good concentration and fat. A touch of a heavy Barsac about it. Short finish detracts a tad. Overall, very quaffable.

Inga noter men det här var riktigt bra. Efter ordentligt med luft. Härliga plommontoner och bra balans. Första dagen sluten så stoppa undan - eller lufta ett halvt dygn!.

I think this is excellent. Has a beautifully and complex nose of honey, apricots, orange rind preserves, hazelnuts, toasted almonds, caramel. And on the palate it's so very light and perfectly balanced with low-ish alcohol, great freshness, and a seamless texture that ends in a lovely finish.

Only needs a short entry. Very orange-amber. Sweet muted nose of mandarin/apricot then sweet apricot/raisiny structure but not terribly complex, a bit one dimensional. Bitter herb twist on finish that is not unpleasant. a drinker not a wax lyrical number. Was room temp, maybe why it didn't grab me. Being NV I have no idea how long this wine was stored for.

On the nose: Gooseberry, vanilla, oak, honey On the palate: Very smooth honey, vanilla, some alcohol heat with a finish of saffron. medium + finish

Utan tvekan en väldigt positiv överraskning

Final bottle in a weird blind flight with 2 other Greek “wines” in. This however was a bit of a pleasant surprise, compared to the red Greeks. Nose shows spices, vanilla, honey, tropical fruits and a bit of rubber spice. A touch of spicy cleaning solvent present. Palate shows ripe and sweet (but not clogging), tropical fruits, orange, mandarin, with some nuttiness and well balanced long finish with refreshing acidity. A well-made and pleasant sweet wine. (89 - 90+)

Deep orange patina, orange peel nose and fruit. The palate is lovely and fish, orange fruit and zesty peel, medium body, light acidity and rally quite light, fresh and elegant.

Very good once again. We have had this wine 3 times in the last 3 years and rated it consistently at the 92 area and definitely deserves it especially for the price. Was a touch more orange this time, like Klein Constantia in a way. 92 once again

Interesting complex sweet wine from unusual Greek grapes giving more expensive Sauternes some stiff competition. Very good.

Greek Chic - A fine wine tutored tasting with Demetri Walters MW (Berry Bros & Rudd, London) : Although technically an NV wineQuite a bit of colour, rich caramel, Takaji feel at times but not as sweet. Rich yet balanced, with good acidity.11.5 Alc. Very beautiful wine. Made with local grapes of dafni,klito and vidiano.92 will last easily a decade.

Blind tasted as part of a BBR wine game. Great to see Greek wines in these competitions/games. Once again true to form this was mistaken by many to being a Tokaji. To us Greek sweet wines are world class and really proud of them. Apricots, dried herbs. Lush wine with depth and presence, good acidity and balance. This is a proper wine and great value for money. 92 once again

Once again, Greek sweet wines are of class. Maybe its the climate, the terroir, the history but this is what makes Greek wines in our mind. Well made, pure and naturally balance sweet wines to rival most that the world has to offer. Orange tint in colour. Orange notes on the nose and palte like a well made klein constantia. Viscosity on the palate, good depth and balance, naturally sweet and no confectionary notes. Yes we are a bit biased …

A blend of Plyto, Vilana, Dafni & Vidiano sundried for 9 days. Medium amber with a complex nose of chestnut cream, caramel, honey & dried apricots along notes of volatility and evident oak. Sweet on palate in an elegant way due to impressive crunchy acidity and delicate alcohol of 11.5%. Vivid and long with depth and personality.
