Ok maybe missed the peak

aging gracefully. still plenty of fruit but light acidity as well. Generous on the nose. wish I had more. went well with BBQ

Popped and poured Served in Rediel Vinum Bordeaux stems 65 F. Clear garnet color of deep intensity Nose was pronounced... with fruit, floral, spices and damp forest floor.. Palate was medium to medium acid with a silky mouth feel. medium plus bodied.. Flavors were pronouced fruit, floral, spice and wood... Length was long... Fruit components were raspberry and red cherry... Floral perfume of woody cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg ... Outstanding wine. Ready to drink with sufficient air time or could age... …

I thought I had waited too long, but was I surprised. Excellent Syrah.

sampled at the WFFT tasting. sweet red fruits, asian spice, and light tar make this a very enjoyable wine.

Chocolate not too much heat excellent Syrah

Nice berry, spice and oak. Drinking nice right now well balnce with smooth tannins. Went nice with the Filet I had for christmas work lunch party at Mortons. Everyone enjoyed.

Smooth, dark fruit, with chocolate and spice notes. Good mouthfeel - not as unctuous as an Alec's Blend or a Cab. Good finish.

Super-ripe boysenberry with chocolate and oak notes on the nose and palate with soft tannins on the finish. Big, but pulls it off nicely!

Simply excellent. This wine is rich but not heavy or over the top. Black fruit and chocolate. This was the favorite of the night.

Full wet oak nose. Rich cherry and blackberry fruit flavors that are concentrated but not heavy. A hint of pepper and chocolate in the finish. We sampled this at a tasting of cool-climate California Syrah. It finished a close second in the field on my sheet to the 2003 Joseph Swan Trenton Estate Syrah.
