Fresh and compact. Aging has calmed the vibrating freshness to just fresh. Polished, balanced, great flow, juicy ripe, long. Medium body. Sense of place. 14,5%, getting to the foreground.

red fruit on the nose, this is a silky, soft big wine, said to be 100%$ Carigmnan. Real saline minerality, lots of tannin but long finish and very, very nice wine

Father and son Jacques and Julien Montagne always deliver impeccably balanced, rich and savoury wines. High elevation and very old vines, mostly Carignan and small amount of Grenache from 80years old vineyards, fermented in cement, no additives, no artificial yeast, unfiltered. The 2015 is obviously young with dense and grippy tough tannins, but coated in cool suave and sweet juice with pronounced notes of blueberries and bitter mint. Metalic, saline minerality. Long dry finish. Great value, real terroir quality.
