Really enjoyable - concentrated and full of flavour (less complex than my other tastings this holiday) - nice perfume. Pretty good length .... maybe faded a little .... though could have just been the food choice .... Xmas day wine - v drinkable

Opened and poured; big, dark and muscular; lots of fruit, almost jammy; reminds me of some of the 2011’s I have. Softened in the glass over 2 hours. The tannins are reasonably well integrated, although there is an earthiness to them, which may always be there. I suspect this is a little young and should improve and mellow over the next 2-8 years. Not a classic, but very drinkable with supper.
