I was affraid that this wine would be long gone its best, given its age and low alcohol (12%), but to my surprise it was pretty good. The wine looks tawny colored, with a noted hue. The legs are medium and there is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like licorice. It tastes like medium toast and black currant, with some leather.
