A really fantastic Blaufränkisch Reserve from Krutzler, one of the best vintages I remember. Very structured wine with slightly grippy tannins, excellent racy acidity and complex fruit flavors of cherries and blackberries, but no obvious oak flavors. Dense and rich but also elegant. Still seems young. This wine can probably age another 8-10 years. DIAM10 closure. - 91 points
