Quick notes: Wonderful spiced lemon, sourdough, pine nut, peach, ginger. Great acid, unfiltered, elegant mouthfeel, finish dissipated a little quick but was at least pleasant. I'd revisit without hesitation.

Btl. 1089 - 15.9% Alc Tried this on the 3rd day was under vacuum up until then. Yes it is 15.9% Alc, Yes it is big, but it is also "balanced" there is acidity that does not make it feel heavy, but the fruit is totally big ripe luscious tropical fruit no hiding that. A touch cloudy (unfiltered) Chenin Blanc with aromas and flavors of lemon curd, minerals, and a bit of hay. Very nice mix of citrus, stone, and grass in this wine, which is well-balanced and refreshing. Impressive for the price. Excellent QPR.

This is such a fun wine to serve - one of only a few Chenins on the Central Coast. The wine is unfiltered so it looks like Country Time lemonade in the glass! Lively aromas of key like pie, almonds, chamomile, and the beautifully pure flavor of lemon curd. Delicious with many different cuisines, easy to pair and succeed with this one. Note: this winery is a client of my company's, but the notes are entirely my own.
