The wine is named Opaco - Portuguese for opaque, which this wine most certainly is. A blend of Alicante Bouchet and Sousão, the wine is pitch black to the rim. An interesting blend, especially coming from Lisbon region. The wine is however marred by excessive new oak and basically becomes a soupy concoction of vanilla, chocolate and spice.
