Ripe fruit acid minus and oak plus. Good structure. Round and medium weight, which is an achievement in Napa. Tar, blueberry, and cassis flavors.

Cork was not in good condition (crumbly) but fortunately, the wine was still very good at 12 years of age.

The wine is definitely showing its age at this point. Very short finish and taste of alcohol. It was still drinkable but not as enjoyable as I remember

Decanting for an hour at 55°F produced notes of plum and the ever-present oak. This wine is offering medium-bodied, straightforward Napa Cab flavors with smooth, integrated tannins. It's the acidity that keeps the palate alive and drives the plum, blackberry, mocha, coffee, and vanilla flavors through the medium length finish. I rated it higher than the 2011 vintage (see notes) by virtue of the deeper mid-palate concentration and longer, more energetic finish.

Really sour at this point. Cork had dried off completely.

I thought this would be on the downhill but I was pleasantly surprised. This is in its prime right now. Round firm tannins, medium acidity, very well balanced. Drink now and enjoy.

En glad vin. Moderne med upfront frugt og en fin fadbehandling. Har ikke nok rygrad til at få flere point og Q/P er forfærdelig.

Drinking well, but on the downslope. Nose has a good amount of fruit with a little hint of green. The palate shows more acid than fruit at this point but makes it pair with food well. Tannins are well integrated. Overall a nice wine but probably peaked at this point.

Absolutely solid Cali cab from a so so year. Aging beautifully, still plenty of purple fruits left. Moderate acidity, long deep finish with just a kiss of minimal oak intrusion. Alcohol is present but balanced. Tannins are smooth as butter right now. Glad we have three more bottles left, this is drinking wonderful right now but has at least another year left if not more.

Dark crimson with magenta highlights. Blueberry, spice and cedar nose. Medium to full bodied, plums, blackberries, cherries, well integrated tannins, leather, and a long sweet finish. Really excellent for an entry level cab.

Well, I was hoping for something different, but it was still good. My research on this wine suggested that cellaring would would pay large dividends, but instead it tasted to me like it was on the back side of its apogee. The nose was fantastic and suggested a much larger body and flavor profile. To be honest, I've been carrying this particular bottle around for the past couple of years so it could have been damaged along the way. In …

A nose of dark fruit and spices, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied Cab, with blackberry, currants, some chocolate and spice on finish, would be better is finish lasted longer. www.winelx.com

This has a nose of a great cab. There was a lingering "off green" finish preventing an adequate taste. I let this open in a glass and it did change with a spicy Chix ap. The dark fruit came through after 20 min lessening the green finish. After. 30 min. This bottle needs decanting to be appreciated.

Plum and blackberry, mocha and oak. Decent level of acidity and very smooth. Biggest drawback was the overwhelming and off-putting "green" taste of new oak. Not sure if this would soften or better integrate with time.

This wine has a nose of blackberries, currant, and plum. The tannins were light on the first sip and there was not a lot of body on the finish. It still drank nice though don't pair it where a robust Cab is needed.

This was a decent cab but previous vintages like 07' were much better. Had your typical red fruits plums and a little cherry with a little oak but didn't have much lasting power. Almost a bit thin on structure. Worth a try but try it first before grabbing a few.
