First tasted this as a barrel sample and it was a stunner. Over a decade later it remains a very fine wine. Dusty nose, soft full WA cab. Very well balanced with long, fine finish. Its Howard Park at its best. May not improve but isnt going anywhere soon. Drink over the next 3-5yrs

It could have done with a couple more years. Still a little too much tannen. Smelt beautiful but not as smooth as the 95 and 96 I had before it as part of a vertical tasting. They are both extraordinary!
