Excellent colour and nose. Immediately approachable. Soft, sweet damson, mulberry, dark cherry fruit with some almost port-like character. Complex and long with good balancing acidity. I was pleased that I kept it for a few years before opening it. It had none of the hard, tannic character of some younger tannats. This was a very inexpensive bottle and was superb value.
